Aims to demonstrate the ability of 5G to support multiple vertical use cases concurrently on the same infrastructure.

The project intends to provide efficient and reliable close-to-commercialization services for citizens and tourists in three different cities: Athens (smart mobility), Rennes (e-health) and Turin (media and broadcasting). Its results could help to improve the quality of life of people in cities.

Our role

Atos leads the WP2 of Use Case Design and co-designs the augmented tourism use case from T2.1.

We are developing an interactive application for devices based on 5G that combines Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality and that we will be able to apply in many future projects with the aim of transferring it to clients. In Italy, we are using a customized deployment of TIM's 5G network in collaboration with Ericsson to build an immersive experience in the Palazzo Madama museum in Turin, and in Greece, we will use the OTE network together with Nokia, Samsung and Electronic Arts, for an educational and cultural application.

Atos will offer visitors to the Palazzo Madama museum in Turin an advanced interactive experience on XR technology.

The guide, an advanced application, will be based on interactive technologies such as Augmented and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) on a 5G managed infrastructure.
