Born in Bogotá, Colombia, Ana María Morales has a Degree in Journalism and Communications with a specialisation in Corporate Communications from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá. In addition, she has a Masters Degree in Marketing and Commercial Direction and a Masters in Digital Marketing from EUDE Business School in Madrid. She joined Atos in 2017 and since then has had various roles and responsibilities related to communication and business development for H2020 projects such as WATIFY, DataBench, ReMAP, E-FLY, I-FLY, DataBio, and ZONeSEC.
Moreover, she has been responsible for establishing internal communications channels and acted as the liaison between ARI and Atos Communication and Marketing teams for maximising the reach of ARI projects. Before joining ARI, she was the Corporate PR Director at SPR Group, a renowned PR agency in Colombia, managing external communications at national and regional level for IT companies such as Unisys, Dell EMC, HP Inc, MediaTek, Digitex, and other industries with accounts such as American Express, PharmaCielo, 3M, Chubb Insurance, among others.
Since March 2021, Ana is the Head of the Communications and Marketing group within ARI, aiming at maximizing the impact of the research projects and promoting their value to addressed targets by standardizing and professionalizing the communication processes, methodology and guidelines in the team.
As part of her tasks, Ana is also responsible for increasing the visibility of ARI activities within and outside Atos, acting as the point of contact with Iberia and Global marketing and communications departments. In parallel, she is also leading the communication and engagement with stakeholders tasks in various H2020 projects such as HELIOS, inteGRIDy, PerMedCoE, FlexiGroBots, TeraFlow, CyberSANE.
