Charles Bastos Rodríguez is currently Head of the Project Management Office (PMO) of Atos Research &  Innovation  (R&D  arm  of  Atos  Spain). He joined Sema Group (now part of Atos) in 1998, in Atos Research & Innovation (ARI) since 2008, he contributed on and coordinated national  and  European  projects. He  is  an  experienced  system  analyst, project manager  with  27  years  of  working  experience  in Information  Technology,  working  with  clients  such  as  Spanish  Army,  CNMV (agency  in  charge  of  supervising  the  Spanish  Stock  Markets), Correos (Post Office Spanish company), European Commission, among others. He  graduated  in  BTEC  HND  Computing  in  São  Caetano  do  Sul  (São  Paulo - Brazil). Charles worked as Quality Supervisor of Atos Research &  Innovation from 2017-2020 creating and deploying processes which provided mechanisms to ensure that ARI delivery in European Projects matched the European Commission quality requirements for the Horizon 2020 funding programme. Since 2015 he is also certified as Project Manager Professional (PMP).
