Aims to develop a sophisticated mass centralised evacuation system, based on a radical re-thinking of Mass Evacuation Vessels (MEVs) combined with an intelligent ecosystem consisting of components that provide real-time access and representation of data to formulate appropriate strategies while optimising the operational planning on damaged or flooded vessels.

Its ecosystem incorporates innovative technologies for sensing, people monitoring and counting, localisation services as well as real-time data during accident time. These will be integrated into an independent, smart situation-awareness and guidance system for sustaining an active evacuation route for large crowds and making emergency response in EU passenger ships more efficient.

Our role

Our team is responsible for coordinating all kinds of activities related to the ICT domain. Moreover, we are in charge of the definition of the architecture and its subsequent integration in real-life scenario(s). The project relies on Atos to steer all exploitation activities and business models.
