CARAMEL’s goal is to proactively address modern vehicle cybersecurity challenges applying advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques and also to continuously seek methods to mitigate associated safety risks.

Considering the entire supply chain of automotive operations, CARAMEL targets to reach commercial anti-hacking IDS/IPS products for the European automotive cybersecurity and to demonstrate their value through extensive attack and penetration scenarios.

Our role

Atos leads WP4, which explores the recent progress in artificial intelligence, in deep learning and in other related technologies to provide breakthroughs in the fight against cyber-attacks in the future automotive domain. Besides, Atos will develop a PKI component for providing cybersecurity solutions for vehicles. The PKI toolbox will allow us to protect the data of the vehicles at-rest and in-transit, the identity of the vehicles, etc.
