GRAPEVINE is the European initiative that will improve current pest prediction and control systems in the wine sector, thanks to Big Data and Artificial Intelligence technologies. The project aspires to reduce the environmental impact by optimizing the use of phytosanitary products and increasing biodiversity; to provide an intelligent decision support tool for grape growers adaptable to other regions; and to improve farms sustainability.

Our role

Our team leads the activity of "Infrastructure resources management" with the implementation of an asset called Croupier Orchestrator for automatic management of the workload on Cloud and HPC environments that supports the efficient execution of tasks with the most appropriate available resources at all times.

On the other hand, we implement a Monitoring tool that collects information from different sources (HPC, Cloud infrastructures, application information), and presents it to users so that they have a vision of the general state of the system and the applications in particular.
