Two of Atos Research & Innovation projects -5G-TOURS and Affordable5G- will present its demo videos at the Mobile World Congress 2022, as Atos is one of the exhibitors at this international and key event that takes part in Barcelona from February 28th to March 3rd. 

For those who visit the stand, two demos from 5G-TOURS project will be displayed.

The general concept would be an AI-Agent, developed by Atos, is able to trigger automatically VNFs scaling in-out actions making possible to address complex data classification or prediction problems (e.g., based on CPU, RAM or network usage metrics) according to the concrete AI-models: 

• AI-based Close loop automation for NFV MANO. Automated scaling (in/out) based on VNF CPU usage level forecasting.
• AI-based Close loop automation for NFV MANO. Automated scaling (in/out) based on road traffic image recognition.

A third demo will be also shown during those four days related to Affordable5G:

• Radio parameter optimization via ML-assisted near-real-time control loop. 

In this case, radio parameter optimization via ML consists on an ML-agent, declared as an xApp, assists a RAN Intelligent Controller's near-real-time control-loop into optimizing radio parameters based on live measurements received from the network. This is developed in collaboration with Accelleran and NKUA.
